Carrie can tell something's wrong, but chalks it up to jitters. Cattrall has said multiple times that she will not participate in a third Sex and the City film, despite fans clamoring for another installment. Samantha also puts it into Charlotte's head that her wonderful but well endowed nanny, Erin, who walks around bra-less, could possibly be having an affair with Harry. After Samantha runs into old beau, movie star Smith Jerrod, at his latest movie premiere, Shiekh Khalid, one of the movie's producers, offers Samantha an all expenses week long luxury trip to Abu Dhabi to discuss some possible PR work. Carrie is furious that she'd kept a secret from her, and that she ruined her marriage. Big takes her to the hospital and waits until baby Rose is born, hoping to see Carrie. Carrie goes to the exquisite penthouse Big had bought for them to collect a pair of brand new Manolo Blahnik shoes that she had left there. Miranda then confesses to Carrie about what happened at the rehearsal dinner. On Valentine's Day, Carrie and Miranda have dinner, where she tells Miranda that the article made her realize that she had become so consumed with the wedding that it was not about her and Big anymore, it was all about her. When Steve confesses he has cheated on her, Miranda is devastated and immediately separates from him and gets her own place. SaTC2 doesn't have the decency to be a car-crash of a film, the sort of thing that you watch aghast, but nor is it any good whatsoever. And all four examine their own lives a little more closely as they, as women, experience life in a Muslim society up close and personal. There is none of that in this film, instead the characters themselves living in comfort and wealth are granted access to a world of extreme luxury that takes them far from reality and makes them pretty unlikeable and patronising for the majority of the time. Be the first to contribute! Carrie dyes her hair dark for some reason.
