The show follows a group of diverse Chicagoans as they navigate sex, relationships, pregnancies, and dick jokes. In other words, they're actually relatable. They're not finished with a Manolo Blahnik gloss, which makes all of their problems—both sexual and otherwise—more relatable. They have to try awkward role-playing, search for random threesome partners, and have honest talks with their vaginas—sometimes to no avail. Despite Cattrall joking that her character, Samantha Jones , should just be played by another actress in the sequel, the rest of the cast were seemingly disappointed that the fourth member of their onscreen posse no longer wanted to be involved.
